Jakub Kovar game-worn jersey from the 2008 Ice Hockey World Championship U20

Jakub Kovář was the goaltender for the Czech national team at the 2008 IIHF World Junior Championship. He played a key role for the team and started most of the games in the tournament. The Czech team finished in 5th place after defeating Finland in the placement match. Kovář was known for his reliable performances and later established himself in European hockey, particularly in the KHL and the Czech Extraliga.
